With the easter weekend looming we decided to head to Church Stretton in Shropshire, always a good walking spot. A haul up onto the top of Long Mynd was rewarded with some wonderful snowy views across the valleys. Snow this late isn’t common, and certainly not at the depth we experienced. A small road leading up to the ridge car parks was buried under 2-3 foot drifts. This image was taken at the start of the decent, where a couple of the smaller ridges join the Long Mynd itself.
