This was taken at my local beach, alongside the Dee Estuary. It’s a place which is so close I can nip down to it when the weather is looking good, and I feel like a photo fix. On this particular time I had just received my Nikon 10-24 wide angle lens and was itching to try it on a nice sunset.
Conditions were not ideal, as I had hoped the tide would be in and I could get some nice reflections, but in the end it didn’t matter.
This shot consists of a combination of 3 exposures, combined into a single HDR image (although I did tone down the HDR effect, as I sometimes feel it makes things look a little too alien).
